This Issue of Studies in Photography is the second of a two part discussion on the world of collecting:
The latest edition of Studies concludes our exploration into the world of collecting; with organisations such as the National Trust for Scotland offering some fascinating insights into their collections and the process of making them accessible to the public. The journal interview presents the work of book artist Helen Douglas, whose career I have followed closely. The ‘New Contemporaries’ section presents four artists who are creating important lens-based works, furthering our ambition for Studies to be an important independent champion of emerging photographic work in Scotland.
